Day 2
Anaga Massif: The North
After a short transfer to the small village of Chamorga, this route begins, which climbs through laurel forests until it reaches the Cruz del Draguillo. The path then continues gently downhill along the edge of the ravine, leaving the Casas de Tafada behind until it reaches the Anaga lighthouse.
Here we start a quick descent to Roque Bermejo Beach, a picturesque enclave located on the northern tip of Anaga, where we will find a small jetty and some fishermen's cottages.
From here we start to climb up the Barranco de Chamorga ravine to the Casas Blancas, then follow the course of the Barranco de Roque Bermejo ravine until we return to Chamorga. Return by regular bus at 16:30 h.

Day 3
From Cruz del Carmen to Punta de Hidalgo
With public bus we reach Cruz del Carmen in just 20 minutes. Then the trail enters the lush laurel forest of the Anaga Massif, crossing picturesque villages dotted with small cultivation terraces.
Little by little the path descends along the edge of the ravine towards the sea, and a splendid panorama opens up to us, with the blue sea as a backdrop. The vegetation now appears to be scrubland, totally different from that at the start of the route.
The trail goes along the Barranco del Rio until it reaches Punta del Hidalgo, a coastal town located in a lava delta where we will find natural pools next to the rough sea, ideal for a good swim before returning to the hotel. Our driver will take you from here to the next accommodation in Garachico.

Day 4
Chinyero Volcano
A short transfer takes you to Santiago del Teide, from where the PR TF 43.3 trail starts in the direction of the Chinyero Volcano (erupted in 1909). Through old stone paths the trail ascends towards El Calvario and Montaña de Bilma.
The imposing Pico del Teide emerges in front of us, a watchtower that directs our steps. We go round Montañas Negras and soon we reach the volcanic cone of Chinyero, which on 18 November 1909 emerged from the bowels of the earth, terrifying the people of Tenerife.
After going around its perimeter, the path begins a gradual descent through beautiful pine forests towards La Montañeta, where the driver picks us up to take us back to Garachico.

Day 5
Monte de Agua & Cuevas Negras
In the Teno Rural Park, just a few minutes from Garachico, lies the municipality of Los Silos, the starting point of a route that runs through one of the most beautiful and representative landscapes of Tenerife. The so-called Monte de Agua is set between two leafy ravines and is home to a laurisilva rainforest with unique plant relics and endemic fauna, criss-crossed by ancient trails.
A circular walk that starts and ends in Los Silos, easily accessible from Garachico by public transport (bus). The trail ascends through the Barranco de Los Cochinos ravine, penetrating the thick laurel forests, and after reaching Erjos, it starts the descent through Cuevas Negras.
An impressive walk that, as well as crossing a unique "monteverde" forest (green mountain forest), also offers splendid views of the coast through the Teno Rural Park.

Day 6
Guajara Mount & Lunar Landscape
Today a short drive from Vilaflor takes us to the heart of Las Cañadas del Teide National Park. Next to the Parador, in the incomparable setting of the majestic Roques de García, the trail heads towards the Montaña de Guajara, a promontory that closes off Las Cañadas to the south, rising to 2,717 metres and offering an astonishing visual spectacle.
The path then penetrates the splendid pine forests until it reaches one of the most supernatural enclaves in the Canary Islands: the Lunar Landscape. This is a group of volcanic sandstone towers, conical in shape and highly stylised, formed by erosion and the passage of time. The setting resembles a modernist-style cathedral, taking us back to landscapes from other worlds.
The path heads in the direction of Vilaflor in its final stretch, ending in the same municipality where the following accommodation is located.

Day 7
Climb to Pico del Teide peak
The ascent to Pico del Teide is probably the most striking route in Tenerife. At 3,718 metres, Teide is the highest mountain in Spain and a spectacular vantage point from which you can see up to 5 neighbouring islands on clear days. Climbing to the top (the Pitón del Teide) requires a special permit, which we can arrange for you. And the descent can easily be made by cable car, if the weather permits its use.
The route starts in Montaña Blanca, within Las Cañadas. The first steps run along a track without great difficulty. We soon reach the foothills of the mountain and from there the path begins a relentless ascent along the zigzagging trail. Close to La Rambleta, at 3,500 metres, the path passes next to the Altavistahut and the cable car platform.
...And now begins the attack on the Pitón del Teide very top (without permission, they won't let you climb) to crown the summit. An emblematic route which, although not excessively long, requires excellent physical condition due to the steepness of the terrain and its extreme altitude.

+ Hotel Spa Villalba
ALTERNATIVE OPTION: Climb the "Pico Viejo" Old Peak
In addition to the toughness of the route, the ascent of Pico del Teide is not always possible due to its extreme characteristics. Therefore, if you are unable to do it, we propose an alternative option that is also spectacular, although it does not reach the highest peak: Climb to the "Pico Viejo".
The trail starts at the Mirador de las Narices del Teide (noses of Teide), next to the TF-38 road. The path, signposted as No. 9, heads towards the Pico Viejo, located slightly below Teide. As its name indicates, this is an ancient volcanic cone whose last eruption occurred in 1798 and lasted for three months.
Once we reach the summit of Pico Viejo, path 23 will take us to Los Roques de García after a long descent.

Difficulty
To successfully achieve the 6 Walks it is necessary a good physical condition, steady walk and lack of vertigo. According to the year season, temperatures can be extreme (hot and/or cold). Therefore, it is necessary to have suitable warm clothes permanently, to be removed as layers if necessary. Some parts of this trail include passages with slippery loose stone. Although most of this trail is roomy enough, certain sections are quite aerial and require caution. Using hiking poles is highly recommended.
Trails
The Canary Islands has a well signposted network of trails. All sections where from our tours are perfectly marked. In addition to the detailed map of Tenerife, you will get from us precise indications of each route and assistance from the hotline on your walks.
We recommend
Appropriate hiking clothing and sturdy footwear. During the tours, it is necessary to have food and drink enough, as well as sun protection, a cap, wind jacket and, in the winter months, warm clothing.
Luggage transfer
We move your luggage from one accommodation to next, so on your hikes you should only carry a backpack with the essentials of the day. For the whole trip, it is recommendable to use a single suitcase, not bigger than 20 kg.
You can book at any date!
