The Bussard is an old wooden schooner that has been lovingly restored with the most modern technical advances. With a spacious deck, it can comfortably carry up to 12 people. The excursion lasts 4 hours and allows you to enjoy an unforgettable day sailing along the northwest coast of La Palma. In addition, a delicious menu of homemade tapas and non-alcoholic drinks is served. During the trip you will be able to observe dolphins and whales (*) in their natural habitat.

VIP sea excursion with Bussard schooner

With the Bussard schooner, this exclusive sea excursion for 12 people starts in the harbour of Tazacorte. The excursion heads northwest, through an area of dramatic cliffs and picturesque enclaves. During the 4 hour tour we will visit the Cueva Bonita, the Porís de La Candelaria and the idyllic Playa de La Veta beach, where we will stop for a succulent lunch. In addition, this marine excursion will allow you to see dolphins and whales (*) in their exclusive natural habitat.

The Aridane Valley and the New Volcano

The entire Aridane Valley view from the sea is breathtaking. Especially the subsequent lava flows empting the lava into the sea. Very recently, La Palma had a dramatic eruption. The lava river pouring into the Atlantic is an impressive sight that is hard to forget. And it is from the sea that it can be seen in all its magnitude.

VIP maritim excursion

Because it is a relaxed sailing, in a small group (maximum 12 people), with excellent food on board, plenty of time for swimming and enjoying the good weather in the west. In short, an unforgettable excursion.

Transfers :

We also offer a prepaid card for the transfer by regular bus, from Los Cancajos or Santa Cruz de La Palma to Puerto de Tazacorte. Departure from Santa Cruz de La Palma, at 09:10 h (to be pay €10)

  • Bus line 300 – Santa Cruz de La Palma – Los Llanos de Aridane
  • Bus line 110 – Los Llanos de Aridane – Puerto de Tazacorte

Puerto de Tazacorte is the starting point of the excursion.

We provide you with a prepaid card with the balance adjusted to the return transfers. The return time is variable, with the latest return time being 19:00 h.

(*) Whale and dolphin watching

Dolphins and whales are wild animals that have their habitat on the coasts of Tazacorte. They can almost always be observed during an excursion, although their presence is not guaranteed. In case you do not see dolphins and whales during your excursion, we cannot offer any courtesy excursion or refund.
