Dolphin and whale watching tour
Tour offered in collaboration with Fancy
From the Tazacorte harbor, the motor sailboat sets course for the north coast of La Palma, sailing along imposing cliffs.
On this peculiar route along the island sea side we will discover the Cueva Bonita, the Porís de La Candelaria (also known as Cueva de Los Piratas) and the fascinating Playa de La Veta beach. And in front of this beach we will have time enough to swim in the crystal water.
Afterwards, Captain Pepón heads out to sea in search of whales and Dolphins. And he finds them! The dolphins appear at the call of the boat’s purr and playfully cross the keel of the boat and jump in front of it. And sometimes even a whale or other marine animals appear.
Gradually the boat approaches the coast again and now we can see the huge tongue of lava that the new volcano has created. We approach it to observe the whole river of lava that has been flowing into the sea for almost three months. Some time later, we return to Tazacorte harbor after a fascinating two and a half hour trip.
If you drive to Tazacorte harbor, please be aware to arrive at dock #1 (pantalán) about 15 minutes before boarding. There is a free car park on the quay where you can leave your car.
