    The fascinating south

    [sightseeing bus tour]
    Discover the fascinating landscape of the south. Enjoy the unique enclaves such as "Caldera de Taburiente" or "San Antonio volcano" on the tour around the South. Idyllic villages and fantastic views along the south sea side of the island. We start the excursion with the visit to the beautiful "Virgen de Las Nieves" Chapel, close from Santa Cruz. Then, we take the road to Villa de Mazo, with a superb scenery along the eastern side since we reach the "Molino de Ramón y Vina" pottery production, where we can learn the aboriginal pottery from the "Guanches". The tour leads then to the south since we reach the imposing volcano San Antonio (last eruption on 1649). From Fuencaliente our tour point to "La Cumbrecita" along the seaside west road, with impressive views to the Atlantic. "La Cumbrecita is an spectacular viewpoint above the "Caldera de Taburiente" crater, one of the biggest erosions crater in the world. Hier we can have a short and pleasant walk and enjoy the majestic views to the highest point from La Palma: the Roque de Los Muchachos.
